Orbitra operates a register of trade identities. An Orbitra ID identifies a company on that register and records what Orbitra has been able to confirm about it. It is not an endorsement, a credit assessment, a licence, or a guarantee of any company's conduct. Nothing in this agreement makes Orbitra a party to any trade you enter into.

You are entering this agreement on behalf of the company named in the details taken from you. By continuing you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that you have the authority to bind that company. If you are not, stop here and tell the Orbitra representative with you.

Orbitra records the company details, sector, country and contact information given at registration, a photograph of the person registering, and copies of any documents shown at the time. Where registration happens away from an internet connection, this information is held on the device until it can be transferred to Orbitra's systems.

The photograph is taken so that Orbitra can show, later, that a named person was present and confirmed these details in person. It is held with the company record. It is not published on any public page and it is not used for any other purpose.

Orbitra publishes a verification page for each Orbitra ID. That page shows the company name, country, sector, registration status and the date the status last changed. Anyone holding the link or the printed code can open it. Contact details, documents and the photograph are not published.

A company that completes registration holds the status Registered. Registered means the company is on the register and has given the details above. It does not mean Orbitra has checked them. The status becomes Verified only after Orbitra's compliance review is complete.

Orbitra reviews the documents supporting each registration within five business days of receiving a complete set. Orbitra may ask for further documents, may decline to advance a company to Verified, and may remove a company from the register where information given is found to be false.

You confirm that the information given at registration is accurate and current, and that the company holds the licences and registrations it needs to trade in the sectors named. You agree to tell Orbitra when any of it stops being accurate.

Records are held on Orbitra's systems for as long as the company remains on the register, and for five years after it leaves. Orbitra shares them with the compliance providers it uses to run the checks described above, and with nobody else, except where the law requires it.

You may ask Orbitra at any time to correct the record or to remove the company from the register. Removal takes the public verification page down and the Orbitra ID stops resolving. Orbitra keeps a record that the identifier existed.

Orbitra may change these terms. Where a change affects what is published or how the record is used, Orbitra tells the registered contact before it takes effect.
